fucking ouch. 0-4 in grand slam finals, losing 3 of them to Federer.

Federer on the other hand, 17 grand slam wins now and reclaims #1 ranking, greatest in the history of the sport.
 


He played a hell of a game, but Federer is a machine. Although at 31, he must be due to retire soon, so maybe Murray will get his chance then.

Federer also looks like Quentin Tarantino.

I doubt it, I think he'll be around at least 5 more years, and even then you have djokovic and nadal. I'd like to see him win atleast 1 though.
 
Im a big Federer fan.. but what an "ouch" moment that was for Murray when Federer said "he will AT LEAST win one grand slam in his career". Just, the way he said that. Quite condescending for such a legend.

Murray could have won this year. He has the game to do it, he just went to pieces under the pressure of it. So close yet so far.

His first serve % was what something like 50%? In most his matches it has been 75-80%. It's that single thing which cost him the game IMO.

His second serve is weak.

I think this was Murray's year. With so many of the other top players out early, he had a real chance. Next year he'll have to get through several greats earlier on, which makes the whole thing harder... Also, at any time another legend could appear from no where.

Federer has another couple years left in him, although he may choose to go out while he's at the top of his game rather than fading away.
 
Federer is the only guy with class. Although I'd probably watch tennis a lot more if there was another John McEnroe.

What did you expect? him to give that kid a pipe dream. He played against him so he knows how weak his game is.

i respect a game like tennis (even thought i only watch the women). it's mano-mano. your best game must beat mines.
