I've been exercising regularly for a couple of weeks (in addition to the healthy eating I started at the beginning of the Body Transformation Contest) and I've noticed that I have a lot shorter fuse now...

I almost got in a fight Saturday night, which managed to get me thrown out of a restaurant (I got into a shouting match with the owner) and I notice my patience is no longer what it used to be.

Any ideas on what I can do to counteract this? Are my testosterone levels higher, causing me to get angrier?

You are having stress in some part of your life and displacing your anger/frustrations out on others.

Smoke more weed or deal with the stress. Maybe you just need to eat a fuckin burger.

If you've changed your diet recently, you could be in withdrawal. Quitting coffee, cigarettes, or other types of stimulants can put you in an angry mood for weeks. It's always easier to stay mellow when you're high. Just get better mental control.

Exercise alone wouldn't do it. Exercising releases endorphines, which relax and calm a person.

I've never met anyone in my life who had "anger management issues" and who wasn't also just a complete fucking tool. There's a good chance you're just a douche bag who hasn't totally come to grips with it yet/realized it. Food for thought, I don't know.

"If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow."

OR

Imagine funny shit about them. So for example, pissed off restaurant owner, think to yourself, "Man, the guy's hung like a budgie and fucks grapes".

If you're doing a lot of anaerobic exercise, you body will produce and significantly elevated level of testosterone for at least short period until your body gets acclimated to the increased exercise and testosterone levels moderate.

Your body should adjust.

Next time you feel like starting a fight, do so with someone who is physically much larger than you are

Nothing sorts you out like waking up from a nice dirt nap and heading to the hospital to get patched up
