Ann Arbor Meetup202

we could definitely move it, im open to suggestions. most of the people who have joined so far are pretty new... I'd be really happy to get more established affiliates involved.

I'll contact 202 and see if we can get the groups combined. would novi be more preferable?

the pizza place in ann arbor is alright, it will give us a chance to meet and talk without it being too crazy. but yeah, im open to suggestions for cchange of venue

The fuck is in Novi? I'd say Ann Arbor or Detroit, I'd just like to see the groups combine since we're only 30 minutes from each other and the quality of Affiliates might be improved. Detroit has a lot more options as far as places, but if people are scared to come to The D, then Ann Arbor is fine. Whatever works I guess, it just doesn't make sense to have 2 different groups is all I'm saying.

i have no problem with detroit but i think you're going to see a better turnout in ann arbor based on some people being pussies.
 
If I ride my tricycle all the way to the D I need to know that I'm not going to be shitted on guys. I've been to a couple of these events and everyone acts weird when they see my disorder.



Nahhh, I subbed to this thread. I'm in the Detroit area and I would be down for something like this. Ann Arbor is way nicer IMO. Plymouth is pretty cool too, there is a good cafe somewhere in there that has some decent music/good atmosphere wi-fi.
 
alright folks. im going to send an invite to the detroit crew to come to ann arbor. the meetup remains tentatively planned at the pizza place in a2. i'll have to contact them again to make sure everything is good and they have wifi. otherwise, i'll hunt around for a few other places to consider in the a2 vicinity
 
Outside at Domenick's. Com'on now... Some good sangria and pitchers of Bell's (assuming that place still exists)

Hell, I'd almost fly back to A2 for that. Vamos Azul!
 
i've thought abotu dominick's too, problem is, for a first meetup, we at least need to be able to talk to one another. it's really not easy to find a good venue in this town that would allow people to talk without shouting.... still sticking to the pizza place for the time being.

My group has worked with Spark a little, def useful if you're going to be doing local business.

btw, the event is popping off on THIS WEDNESDAY at 7pm (pizza pino). Pizza/soft drinks are provided (you guys like hawaiian?)

A lot of people are pretty new, so I'm hoping to find out what everyone's experience/interests and plan some good speakers going forward.
