Any bets on there being some type of terrorist incident at the Olympics?

I hope Olympic security is on point next month, because with the recent bombings and the new threats it's not looking like a great place to be hanging out. It's probably no less secure than any other country, but I just have this feeling that Russia is a bad place to hold an Olympic games. There are crazy fuckers everywhere, but Russia is just too close in proximity to the central headquarters of most terrorist assholes.

My predictions:

1. there will be attempts by terrorists to create havoc.
2. the Russians will kill/detain whoever they have to in order to create a perception of peace.

Example:

July 3rd, 2013:

Umarov (pic below) remarks that the Sochi Olympics are "satanic dances on the bones of our ancestors." In a video, he says his followers will "do their utmost to derail" the event.

January 17th, 2014:

CBS reports that Umarov may be dead.

"...satanic dances on the bones of our ancestors."

Say what you will about the Chechen rebels, but they come up with good headlines.

Since terrorist attacks don't happen more than they do happen, I'll be glad to take you up on the bet for $100 on even money. Confirm here and we can close the wager.

At least you can shit while holding hands with your boyfriend. We should all go.

.sqlite son ;)

efeezy, less fear about stuff that is extremely unlikely to ever affect you, please.

lulz. I wasn't worried about my safety. I don't have tickets to Sochi, so I think I'll be ok. Nigga can't even start a discussion about current events upinere.

Actually, you are in much more danger than in the olympics, have you read how many people die from falling in the bathroom or driving?

It's like... I could die any moment. Who knew that was part of life?
