I just got accepted to their network, and the current website that I'm using allows people to put their information into forms on our website.

Does anyone know if I can script up a PHP code that would also send this information through my affiliate link with esurance? Or will they need to also click on the button for esurance and fill out the information on the esurance website?

Any help would be appreciated!

They pay on a fully completed quote process, and don't allow posting - You need to use their links.

I’ve used Commission Junction for a year or so now and have never really had much success with it - partly because I’ve not found many products in it that quite fit with the topics that I write on and partly because I have found other programs to be easier to add to my blogs.

Damn, well what if somebody uses my form and I just enter their information into the Esurance website through their form? I think I already know the answer, but just want to be sure...

Esurance doesn't allow host and post through CJ, but I'd encourage contacting them to see if it's possible.

I can almost guarantee you that Esurance is too stupid, blind, cheap, and lazy to catch affiliates doing host and post through CJ, though CJ's network quality team would probably find out sooner or later. As of a year ago, they had no mechanisms in place to track lead quality on a per-affiliate basis that I'm aware of, but that may have changed at the same time that they raised their payout.

Not familiar with Esurance, but in general posting leads into a merchants form by hand is not allowed and very easy catch - all of your leads will be arriving from your (the same) IP address.

Most lead based merchants I've dealt with have at least some basic functionality to detect fraud by IP checking and lots of leads from the same IP raises big red flags.

CJ is the affiliate network that hates affiliate marketers. They have a few good offers now and then but they have terrible tracking and most of their offers you can't edit so it makes it a lot harder to convert.

In my experience, their tracking is pretty much as accurate as any other affiliate network. Things become an issue when advertisers don't implement things properly, or shave/scrub on their own end - Which happens in any network.

What do you mean by "most of their offers you can't edit"? I don't think I've ever used a banner or text link straight from CJ...

I can tell you that eSurance's tracking system isn't what it could be. One thing I am sure of, you ain't gonna be sending over anything, except your CJ ID and maybe, maybe, a zip code.
