Gonna be real brief here. Looking for a $30k loan in exchange for equity in a business I'm starting. Yes, a *loan*. All I can say publicly is that it's software in the healthcare industry.

I've spent the last several months programming, the product is nearly finished, but I'm nearly out of money. Need $30k for living costs while I move into sales phase now. I'm prepared to move into my car at the end of the month.

I realize it's a stretch posting this on wickedfire, but figured there are some folks out there looking for something a little different than typical WF stuff.

PM me if this piques your interest at all (or rather, if you have the type of funds I’m looking for). I know I’ve given no details. But know that I'm not going to divulge any details unless you're actually serious and we're on a skype or phone call.

Hi OP,

I'm no rapist but a few members PMed me your thread, stating that you're a good candidate. Please PM me more details along with how to contact you.

Huh? You mean a personal loan? I don't quite understand what you are trying to say.

Need $30k for living costs.

Have you never watched Dragons Den or Shark Tank? No one in their right mind will loan you living expenses. They want their money to be put to building the business and nothing else. And the risk/reward for an unsecured loan (if thats what you are taking about) makes it idiotic.

This is the time for friends and family (or a rich idiot) and not outside investors and ESPECIALLY not WF. You need to refine your pitch dude.

$30k for living costs, while you're bootstrapping a start-up. How long do you expect the sales phase to be?

Dont take the money. Go live in your car for 6 months. It will give you a new outlook on life and business. I am dead fucking serious here.

Strange request on your part... why don't you just get a job and work on your project in your spare time?

I think the saying goes .... A Fool and his Money are soon parted. Good lucking finding that fool, there are plenty of them so you may actually be successful.

I'm still scratching my head about the $30k for "living costs".

"I'm about to live out of my car, so can I have $30k?"

I mean, even if I was in downtown Vancouver, I could probably stretch $30k to last me 12 months if absolutely need be. Wouldn't be very fun, but if you're bootstrapping a start-up, that's what you do. I'm assuming debts that need to be paid off, or maybe just hoping to take potential clients out to 5 star steak restaurants on someone else's dime, or?

Why haven't you been hustling money to keep this project going well while keeping a roof over your head?

If you can't sell web design, programming, marketing good enough on your own to make ends meet while you finish this project, what hope do you have selling this software to the healthcare industry when it's time to do it?

Also, you didn't do a very good job "selling" us on this loan idea.

I think your fate is already sealed, but I honestly wish you best of luck in this venture. I think you are going to have to change a lot of things drastically if you are at this point though.

Good luck

I was going to send $30k to a Nigerian prince that had a few million dollars he was going to wire me back later but this seems like an equally promising investment, please sir tell me more....

I've never been down and out like that but I have no doubt that it would totally change my perspective on everything.
