I've only ever used PCs and as a affiliate marketer I am constantly trying different apps that are readily available for the PC.

Im wondering if I will be hampered in any way if I go get a macbook air?

I know I can run windows on a mac but I've heard its not that simple and it doesn't always work that well.

As everything with mac it's really easy and works out perfect.

but if you are going to buy MBP to run windows on it, better buy another brand. There isn't any point to buy apple hardware if you are not utilizing their OS. You can buy WAY better hardware if you wanna run windows.

If you really are a affiliate marketer, there's no reason not to get an macbook.

Aww, why someone edited out the pic? That was just a drawing of a monkey fucking a guy..

Yes, macbook air is shit <---- mac owner for 4+ years talking here. I have destroyed one and a friend has destroyed 3. If you are going for macbook, get a macbook pro with SSD.

Thanks for the responses, the VM ware idea sounds like a good idea, but I don't really know how it works.

I just love the size and weight, and look. I travel a lot and something super portable would be nice. Also if I get an iphone, my music player, phone and laptop can share a power cord. I love being efficient like that.

VMware Fusion: Run Windows on Mac for Desktop Virtualization

This is what I use. Easy setup, cheap and it works flawlessly. And i actually setup Windows 7 on my VM and imported pretty much everything from my old desktop.

Might not be a problem if you use an external mouse, but:

No right-mouse-button.

There is a right mouse button. You can enable it in the trackpad or the magic mouse, All of this is in the system preferences. Look how easy it it.

System Preference >> Mouse >> Secondary click (select right)

or System Preference >> Trackpad >> Secondary click (select bottom right corner)

I would not recommend buying mac so you can run windows on it. I don't understand why people do that.

I have both mac and windows. I recommend mac if you can afford it as it is nice experience. I use it because i think it the safest browsing experience and use it for personal stuff like checking bank accounts and shopping.

i run all my seo stuff on a windows quad core as my apps are all multi-threaded and take up a lot of processing power.
