I go through 2 shirts a day usually and hate doing laundry.
Anyone have any suggestions on plain shirts that don't shrink/suck?
I'll just need to work out in them and be able to wear them out without looking like a goon.
J crew 100% shirts that you can get at the outlet stores for less than $10 are my staple. Mad comfortable. Pretty damn durable too. Other recommendation would be banana republic pima cotton shirts that you can get on sale for around $10 too.
Putting in a second vote for American Apparel. Have tried Old Navy, but the collars get worn out.
I recommend American Apparel's "Tri-Blend Short Sleeve Track Shirt" pack. It comes with three shirts and gives you a nice little discount for buying in a pack.

American Apparel and Alternative Apparel are both good. My personal favorite for both guys and girls, though, is Threads for Thought. Their basic t-shirts are thin and soft and I think they're like, ethical, or something.
I like to get 10-15 at a time in every different color for those days when it's just too much work to think about what to wear. In my experience, they don't shrink much and they don't change shape on you after a few times through the wash. All 3 of the brands above tend to run a bit small, though, so keep that in mind when buying.
Believe it or not American Eagle used to sell probably the highest quality under shirts/plain white tees I've ever owned. They discontinued them for like 2 years then came back, and I still have the old ass ones going strong.
