Love the books for their YA appeal - the first movie was barely tolerable, but at least it follows the book well. Looks like the second installment will be right on plot as well.

My girl child is a damn addict - books, movie, etc.. I read the books (because I'll read anything if you leave it lying around). The plots not bad I suppose - but the actual writing was horrible. Harry Potter it's not :)

The girl in the movie can't act either.

Good thing I'm a chick. LOL

I like the story not because it's brilliantly written, but because it gets my girls reading. Anything that can make a fifteen-year-old girl who would normally be trying to play dumb for boys carry around a 600 page book is alright in my world.

Believe it or not, the second movie looks marginally better than the first. At least now my girls will understand why I said Jacob is much cuter than Edward (and his bad white make-up)

im not going lie, but im not the biggest fan of the movie, but the books do kickass, the 5th one is the best by far, its the first book from edward's pov. and all he talks about is how bad he wants to kill people and how he would do it. really brutal. but yeah the movies are not the best.
