Anybody have experience with being tagged as a bot on google?

I got that a lot going through tor proxies. There would be a captcha, but typing the captcha rarely worked. Basically just kept switching to new proxies till I got one that worked.

ive gotten it before when i was manually scraping for the same type of data alot, but now i have a prog for that. long story short just use a bunch of proxies and you should be good.

If you are using SEOQuake, this happened a lot when I used it. Not sure if thats an issue anymore, because it stopped popping up when I disabled the plugin.

Now I got software that does all that though...

it goes away after a few hours usually.

It usually lasts 12-24 hours, it just depends on Google's mood. And yeah, SEOQuake does seem to cause it to happen sometimes, but you can turn off the automatic queries on that plugin and it still be functional when needed.
