You want cash cow offline business.

1. Car Wash
2. Laundromat
3. Own vending machines.

I've heard vending machines are a good business from others. However, someone on here posted about the biz once and said because it's lucrative it's really competitive and territorial, and the competition willl try to sabotage your machines.

Sound familiar?

I've heard some of that also. I haven't personally been into vending machines, but have a couple of friends who were. They also say that if you get the right couple of locations, they will bring in 50% plus of your income, which can be very lucrative.

I have no interest in mowing lawns. My opinion is that your reading comprehension isn't that great.

Lots of money to be made there though. I know a guy who is co-owner of one of the more established lawncare/landscaping businesses in the high-end suburbs of DFW, and let's just say that when the new Cowboys stadium went under construction he dropped the $3 mil for a box to "entertain clients" like it was nothing.

Note to self: stay out of WF threads after imbibing. Sorry about that.

It is interesting to go through bizbuysell and see the numbers behind different types of businesses ...

Pay attention to the types of businesses that you DON'T see on bizbuysell, and that will tell you what the most profitable shit is.

Storage seems to be a really good one because when times are good people need somewhere to store all their new toys, and when times are bad people need somewhere to store their shit when the get evicted. Plus you get to auction off their shit if they don't pay their storage bills.

You guys think way to small. There is so much more than cuttin grass or fixing vending machines.

Go to the people. Sell them something. Bank like a crack dealer on the 3rd of the month.

Start making and selling badass slingshots. I'm sure there is a niche market for this.

If it's about getting out there and being social (not about business), here's a tip.

I started learning salsa and bachata about 3 years ago to get off my ass. It's awesome for exercise and getting pussy at the same time, and I probably dance around 20 hours a week at least now. I want to be a teacher in a few years, and I've gotta say if you've got a bit of natural talent it's only about the reps you do, just like working out. More effort, you get better.

I'm pretty good friends with a lot of teachers and the amount of pussy they get is insane. I'm not even that good yet and I got plenty too until I got with my current girlfriend.

(and with the amount of money you guys supposedly make, just buy private lessons with good teachers, you will learn 10x as fast as everyone else, that's what I do).

Can't wait to start rehabbing houses with my dad soon.

It's going to fuck me up bad at first, but I need it. I've put on some pounds.

Been doing this for years. Still do most of my own work. Plumbing, hvac, electrical, framing, drywall, tile and carpet all done by me.

I just did some "simple" plumbing today. Cut off 2 copper pipes under my sink ( someone thought it a good idea to convert my 1/2 pipe to 3/8th and connect a flexible hose to it, then convert it back to 1/2 pipe to connect to the sink ) with the little cutting tool from Home Depot where the mess all begin ( right by the old values )

Cleaned the pipe, stuck on 2 new SharkBite values ( snaps right on ) that had the 3/8th outlet ( was 1/2 inlet ) and hooked up my new faucet as well.

No leaks, fucking a game. Went and did a new shower head ( w. teflon tape ) too to boot.

Next problem, find out why all the exhaust fans in each bathroom went out ( over time ) and fix.

Is anyone involved in any great "offline" businesses?

How about going to offline companies that do more then $300k a year and offer to help increase their profits, by optimising their marketing (adding upsells, cross sells, creating and promoting to their lists etc)?

If you've been at the online game since 98 you will have more then enough skills to improve profits, and take a cut of the increase you're responsible for.
