Hey all.

I have been sending traffic to Copeac for several months now, but just last month got up to the weekly wire tier, and my AM said she'd get me on weeklies. So I sent her my info and was expecting to get wires every wednesday from then on.

To make a long story short, it's been over a month and I have yet to get paid. After many emails they finally responded (they need to get better at getting ahold of) and said that since they have been burned hard in the past by tard affiliates, they are reluctant to put me on wires until my quality checks out (I have been promoting these offers for months with no issues whatsoever). They said they should know about that within a week.

That week went by and still no reply. I contacted my AM yesterday and she said she would ask her manager for an update, but no dice. So now I'm getting a little nervous, because they owe me $xx,xxx and I have a hefty credit card bill to take care of, and can't really wait another 2 weeks to get a large check that I can deposit awkwardly at my small town bank.

What do?

I never done any volume with Copeac.... I have an account with them and my manager never replies to my emails or questions (thats why I decided not to send any major traffic). But I was paid a couple of checks on time by them. It wasnt a big amount but still.

I know they are a reputable company, bu the fact that they are holding $xx,xxx for months seems fishy to me. Unless they have some grounds to doubt about the quality of your traffic/leads they shouldnt hold your money for that long. If emails are slow or just not working try calling them until they resolve this for you.

Are you in the US? If you are in a 2nd tier country that might be causing this delay also.

You say several months, so that is kinda strange they didnt send any payment to you yet. At least your first payment should be in your hands alredy....

please keep us posted on this situation as I was thinking on sending them some traffic for some rebills that I like.

Sorry, I meant to say that they have sent me monthly checks the past several months but just last month I started sending them more traffic, since I figured there would be no problems. They just don't seem to want to put me on wires. I am in the US.

Were you promoting diet offers?? acai, teeth?

They are possibly holding your payment and other affiliates' until they get paid by their advertiser. With the recent crash of many top advertisers, lots of new sketchy advertisers are running up sales then ditching on the bill from networks after their merchant accounts get dinged with heavy fees or they get shut down; the banks freeze their accounts for 6 months...

In before damage control by mkrongel.

And why do people keep running traffic with fishy 5th tier networks when you have large once. o wait a minute.

I live 10 minutes from the Copeac world headquarters in Long Island so the one time they were 3 minutes late on paying me I rode my unicycle up the highway and hurled rotten eggs at their windows.

Copeac is a solid network - sometimes there can be a hiccup migrating from monthly's to weeklies - but that's with any network.

You let them take advantage of you... and now you are asking why they are pulling this shit on you. You should of got on the phone and started bitching.

Tell them that you are gonna switch your traffic to a different network in 24 hours if they don't pay you. Tell them that they are bullshitting you about quality, as most advertisers can tell quality very quickly.

If you let networks dick you around, then some of them will do it to you. Any time you have a problem... say "ok no problem, i am switching traffic". As soon as you say that... they will freak the fuck out and take care of you. Also, if you have a noob affiliate manager, try to get someone more senior on the line, as these bafoons can sometimes not understand how useless they are without your traffic.

I'm currently going through the SAME ordeal right now. They told me I was on net15 until they got word from the advertiser that my quality backs out. Well apparently last Friday they said they got word from the advertiser that I was good, and that on Monday(3 days ago) I'd be wired what they owe and be put on weeklies from that point forward.

I still haven't heard anything from anybody over there and can't even get an answer to my IM's. This is bullshit as it's a pretty good amount in the mid 5 figure range.

@Affiliati - same situation over here.. They told me others were also in the same situation. I'm waiting on $80k+ and they said I'd be wired today but I don't see anything yet.

Come on Copeac!

Its only 10am...

Guys, have you tried to post this on Copeac section of WF forums ? Probably it will get attention from Mike earlier than here. Also call them several times a day. It's strange that you earn mid-high 5 figs a month and still not realise it.

but it sucks anyway...Copeac should make traffic quality decisions much earlier than when it hits such figures
