Anyone have a Samsung cell phone?

For some strange reason all Samsung products I have owned fall apart very quickly even though I take extreme care of them. I once had a refrigerator from them and the shit left my food warm even though the settings were set to max so I got some spoiled meat.

A friend of mine owned one of their TV's and the screen began doing some weird flickering just 2 months after their purchase date.

I had the S4 and within 1 month components began failing such as the mic & speakers.

My Samsung microwave has been brilliant, can't wait to upgrade to Samsung Galaxy S4.

I actually have a S3. Great phone, great battery, good features, great screen, extremely easy to use. Just a shame the back casing is so crappy, the plastic is chipping everywhere.. will probably move to Sony next, their phones seem to be improving so quickly (had the Sony Xperia S before, loved the phone but had a lot of annoying issues).

Having had many Samsung devices (mainly screens/tv's) and *EVERY* one of them has failed or developed a fault that is uneconomical to fix, I simply could not bring myself to buy a samsung phone. I realise my experience probably isn't the norm, but for me Samsung stuff has left a very sour feeling.

I recommend the Nexus line. No bloat, unlocked, excellent price, fantastic performance.

But, as far as Samsung goes, loved all the shit I've had from them from phones to notebooks.

Forgot about the bloat on the S3, lot of duplicate apps you'll never use and can't get rid of.

Another thing that annoyed me was the 'clear' button on the notifications page, it's pretty thin and easy to click something else by mistake.

The voice activation was always coming on as well, some gesture I was doing but never had the time to properly find out if it could be disabled.

And yes overall it just feels really cheap, no where near the quality of HTC stuff.

Samsung sucks, cheap nasty devices. Plus their bullshit Google replacement software is some serious bloatware.

Although the lack of full LTE is a deal breaker for some, the Nexus 4 is a brilliant phone and Google dropped the price by $100 today and it was already cheap! (replacement imminent)

FUCK, I just bought two of these a couple of weeks back. I've purchased five of these for my employees, and replaced my own one that was stolen once. I can't say a bad thing about them.

I had the iPhone 5 with the iOS7 beta running on it. It was a beauty to use. But then shit happened, i threw my phone on my bed after which it decided that it had to bounce 4-5 times around the place before it went flying toward the corner of my computer table and lay with its screen smashed. I was feeling ballsy, so i went ahead and bought the HTC 8x windows phone. Have to say, i'm beginning to love it.

Oh, and Samsung sucks. Its just that their marketing strategy is boss enough to make people think that Samsung has better phones, which is nothing less than a joke.

My last few phones have been Samsung, no real problems with them. Only complaint is the speaker seems kind of weak and would be nice if it was a bit louder. Some of the apps like one of the meditation timers I tried, I could barely hear the chime on it.

Got one of those silicone and plastic cases with the kickstand for my current one. That's handy when watching video and stuff. Also got one of those plastic stick-on screen protectors so I don't scratch the shit out of the screen when I toss some change or keys in my pocket.

HTC One phone, Samsung Note II tablet. Noticeable difference in quality. Anybody got a HTC tablet they want to sound off on?

I have always had a good experience with samsung. Im posting from my galaxy phone right now. Getting ready to upgrade. Not sure what Ill get

I guess Id better read my smartphone reviews site.

My S4 has been giving me connection phone call issues. Other then that its neato if you love govt tracking and monitoring you.

I read that the iphone has the ability to disable the video recorder on the phone. Think about something going down and the cops dont want you or anyone to record it, so they shut it down. Im not sure if thats the way they are all rolling, but that is reason enough not to use them. /tinfoilhat

I paid almost $800 for the iphone 4S new.

After some slut stole my iphone 4S I bought a used Samsung Galaxy 2 for $200 and I like it much much better than the iphone 4S.

Thanks slut. :moon:

Gonna chime in here... I just bought the new Droid Maxx with the big battery... Crazy build quality. It actually has new features that I'm using. The 2 biggest being wireless charging, and their chrome extension that allows you to text from your browser. So sick.
