Anyone have experience with Canon C300 or .MXF files?

In a serious need for help.

Shot some video skits/sketches on a Canon C300 thinking it would be easy to open and edit these files in a non-traditional program.

Come to find out, the files are something called ".MXF" format........now i need something free to either convert the files (in HD) or something that will allow me to work on them in Corel VideoStudio X5.

Any help appreciated!

So you want us to do the heavy lifting for you? How about searching for the camera model, .mxf file converter, or any other number of search terms?

So get Adobe. It costs $20 a month for any program on the Creative Cloud.

Excellent. Shack made a good point. You should be able to demo any Adobe product for 30 days. Give Premiere a go!
