In iTunes hit Restore for your phone but don't let it restore from backup. Then just resync all your apps and music. You'll lose your SMS msgs and have to re-customize the phone but it has helped me in the past with glitches.
 


Seem to have lost my apps - including purchased ones - gotta figure out how to get those back

You can re-download them all from your phone for free. Just go find the apps, and when you hit buy it will let you know you already bought this app and will give you the ability to redownload it. Then sync all the apps to your computer so that if you have to restore your phone again in the future you don't to go find all your apps again.

Wake me up when ATT's deathgrip exclusivity is finally over. I hope I can go right to T Mobile without a jailbreak. Agreed, I love the phone... But, my damn phone bill is as much as my car payment. LOL

To add to my already bad ATT reception, ever since i upgraded the phone to IOS4 and even worse with the update after that, my phone is almost unusable. Most calls fail & the signal constantly goes to searching. Places I had 3G in the past are now edge...its a clusterfuck

Anyone else experiencing the same and if so anyone have a fix? (other then buying a droid)

my 3g is basically worthless after upgrading to ios4. slow as all shit. that reminds me that i need to sell it.

I think that article assumes that Apple's cost for the bumpers is retail; I'd bet that those bumpers cost only a small fraction to manufacture. I guess it represents a larger loss in terms of missed revenue from bumper sales, but I'm not sure what percentage of iPhone 4 owners would have bought the thing in the first place.
