I started meditating about a year ago, off an on. When I'm doing it every day, even for just 15 mins, my state of mind and productivity are profoundly improved.
I read the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, which was good but a little 'out there'. My buddhist roommate lent me a copy of "Mindfulness, Bliss, and Beyond" by Ajahn Brahm. She said it was really good but I haven't read it yet.
