Ohai this is my two thousandth post at wickedfire. Slap me silly and call me susan.

If you're up for a small trip, take an overnight bus to Goa. You'll meet a lot of interesting travellers there. Cheap beer and beautiful beaches with parties that last until sunset.

Was there the last three months and it's pretty well cleared out now for monsoon. Baga/Calangute/Anjuna is still alive but not very.

Drink bottled water only.

I drank Bombay's water for two weeks and didn't get sick. YMMV.
