Anyone Record Audio w/ Mixer

Anybody with any recording experience, I need your help for a sec.

I've plugged the mic into the mixer and turned it on, and the shit gets no sound or anything. The mic has no on/off button so it has to be on.

if its a condenser mic ^^ theres your problem but dynamic mics dont need it

Yeah it's a pencil condenser, how do I give it phantom power?

On a side note I plugged in a regular drum mic and that didn't get shit either.
