Is there anything out there to autopost to craigslist that isn't expensive?

I would kill for Adsoncraigs or Easy Ad Suite but damn they are expensive...

I post by hand right now, and that's fine, but doing dozens of ads a day is getting old, and it really takes a lot of time I could be spending on something else.

Until I can find $400+ for one of these tools, I need to find another way to do it.

So, any recommendations?

Also, does anyone know of a way to scrape craigslist for email addresses?

I suck at the whole programming thing, and even if you gave me a PHP script, I would have absolutely no clue how to use it :D

This is my particular endeavor of interest currently, just looking for a way to auto-respond with a 'Click Here' type-link. Maybe you can help?
 
Doesn't the phone verified account slow down the autoposters? Does this type of software even work anymore with all of the changes Craigslist has made recently? I haven't looked at CL in a while, other than to lurk, but all of the big cities on CL charge to post, right? I guess you could avoid the charges by sticking to the outliers and lesser known locations. Or buy up several phone verified accounts to make bulk posts, since they will probably get banned or flagged.
 
I have only seen a charge for erotic services, I haven't been asked to pay anything when posting any housing offered postings in big cities. So I don't believe that is true.
 
Erotic services is now charging, and like 3 cities charge for job ads, but that's all CL charges for.

Phone verified accounts are also no problem.

And the software can beat the Captchas

As for automated replies, Idk... I use thunderbird for all my CL stuff and personal stuff... Well fuck... I use Thunderbird for everything.

glowleaf: I have iMacros and I tried it, but it just isn't doing what I need. I need to create tokens and more... :\
 
EAPD is not that expensive. I thought it was only about 200? And even if it is 400, it's well worth it. You will make that money up 2000 times over, I promise. Use some of that money you've made doing it manually and reinvest it in your biz if you really want do this for real.

I've looked at EAPD and AOC and I think they are both over the $350 mark. And if I had the cash, I would buy it in a heartbeat! lol

If I don't figure something out, I'll get it someday, it'll just be awhile. But with some of the ideas I have for craigslist, I know I would make my money back in a fucking day, if that...

The work and time it would save me is nuts! haha

If you know you would make the money back in a day, then juggle your bills. Be a week late on your car payment or something. If you really can make that money back in a day, or even a week, then what's the most trouble you're going to get into? A late pay showing on your credit?

Unless, of course, you're not really sure you'd make your money back in a day.

Car is private party payments, based solely on trust and not credit. I don't want to lose that.

Rent is based solely on trust, with no lease or anything, nothing to say I actually "live" here. I just rent a room from a dude as broke as I am, and if I pay him late, he pays everything else late, no good.

If you don't have enough cash to buy the software right now, I think your best bet is to take a step back and just figure out a small way to make or save the money for it. If you really think that you can make more money that way, then you should do whatever you can to figure out a way to getting the right tools.
 
You can't automate posting completely anyway, as there is no software that beats Craigslist's recaptcha, so you'll have to either solve them yourself or pay someone to do it.

True. You need to know what you're getting into ahead of time.
 
That's true enough, Glowleaf. You can't be 100% sure. But at some point, risks need to be taken. Then again, sometimes life walls you in to the point where you don't have those sorts of options.
