It is very rare for them to cancel trades. With what happened the question on whether the trades could be cancelled was not even entertained.
Truth be said, if you connected a "hacker" and a knowledgeable option trader together you can easily walk away with millions of dollars with $50k starter. The right option contracts, with some similar news on the market would be a goldmine.
