- Focus - Plan a strategy
- One that you can use over and over without having to make that many changes to
- This will be your barebones structure
- Find a Niche
- It can be basic; it doesn’t have to be a high paying one
- Brainstorm & make a list of ideas
- Get to know the top 5 niches you picked
- Pick one niche out of the top 5 to get started
- Find a domain for your niche
- Stay away from dashed domains
- Makes it harder to remember
- Try to pick one with your niche topic in it
- If your niche is lawn care, lawncare.com
- Find some hosting, shared or even a free host
- If you use a free host make sure you have something like yourdomain.com and not lawncare.excite.com
- Stay away from dashed domains
- Planning stage
- Choose an ad network/s
- Content
- Unique content over pre-written
- Come up with 10 different topics for your niche
- Research those topics
- Write down 5 main ideas for each of those 10 topics
- Only has to be 1 or 2 sentences long
- Now create some articles
- Take each main idea and structure an article around it
- Content Overview
- 1 – Primary Niche
- 10 – Sub-categories/topics
- 5 – main ideas per sub-category/topic
- By doing this you should end up with at least 50 articles
- Site layout
- Color scheme
- Check competitors layout
- Create a lite version to keep it really simple
- Ad positioning
- Create a checklist of ways to put ads inside of the content
- Make the content and ads meld together
- Focus - ad placement INSIDE the content
- Light SEO work
- Good title tags
- SOME alt text tags on your images
- Some incoming links to ALL of your pages
- Buy some clicks from smaller engines for instant traffic
- Continue to SEO the sites to build long term traffic
- Create Volume
- If you did it correct and it makes money do it over & over & over
