AR-15 Owners.... THIS IS AWESOME

I wonder if they'll make something similar for the AK or FAL? I've got those - haven't gotten an AR-15 yet.

i watch red jacket guns tv programme from time to time, some people go way ott with their guns, like the sheriff who came in and got a tommy gun modified to take a huge barrel of 300 rounds, the damn thing is a machine gun so its already difficult to control, add a bulky 300 round barrel thats bound to weigh 15kg and you got even more instability.

sOME sheriff obviously using taxpayers money to dick around with, why would a sheriff need a 300 round tommy gun?

I thought about posting these here a long time ago but didn't want to be spammy about it.

If anyone has questions about these hit me up. My father's business sells them and as of last check, we are their biggest retailer.

The AK version is in development and will hopefully be out before the end of the year.

Looks like they do...

have it. it's pretty cool, takes some time to get used to. only downside is that you can't easily convert back since you have to replace the safety spring.

Why did you have to replace the safety spring? I haven't heard of anyone having to do that yet and we've sold several thousand of these. It sounds like either you forgot to install the detent or your interface block has a defect.

that's how they set it up, i couldn't tell you why they did it. but i definitely remember the guy replacing a spring when installing it.

I'm guessing a few thousand of these will be heading over the border to Ciudad Juarez sometime soon, for 'law enforcement' purposes... hell, some cartel big cheese in Sinaloa probably has this thread bookmarked for future reference.

Pretty smart idea though.

That is ILLEGAL because he has a spring in it. That makes it a machine gun by definition. The reason we are allowed to enjoy the SSAR-15 is because it uses no springs and has no direct mechanical action.

It's dumbasses like that who don't pay attention to federal law and fuck it up for everyone else.

no it's the law that's dumb, it's not the pring that's illegal it's the fact that they don't want automatic rifles on the streets, and if a bump firing hack allows you to circumvent that they will change the law to make your stock illegal.

At some point you're going to need to split hairs like that and determine what's automatic and what's not.

There are people that can pull the trigger faster than you can bump fire. Are they illegal?

Check out LMT if you are willing to spend a bit more. For around 1100 you can purchase a Colt 6920le or sportster. They are "mil-spec" if that matters to you. Also for aftermarket magazines check out magpul.

I was just catching up on some episodes of Sons of Guns. A guy wanted to own a Soviet-style knife that could be shot from it's holder.

If he used a spring to eject the knife, he could go to prison but using black powder to eject the knife was legal.

The National Firearms Act is such a load of horse-shit in the way that certain weapons are defined. They're defined by the way the weapon is composed, as opposed to the end capability. That's why shit like bump firing mods are possible.

My socialist state of Massachusetts is a perfect example of how ridiculous the laws are. I can only own an AR-15 if it has no more than 2 of a list of features (pistol grip, bayonet lug, shoulder strap, etc). The gun can have any two items from the list, but once it has a third feature, you just committed a felony. It's bullshit.

Gun laws don't make sense because the people drafting these laws aren't using logic that is supported by fact.

why the fuck would you want a bayonet for your AR15.. if i was a gun seller and sometome came in wanting to buy an AR15 with a pistol grip, bayoney and shoulder strap, evev nif it was completely legal, it would raise an eyebrow for me.

I would think the guy was planning some vigilante shit,

If I was a car dealer, and some guy came in wanting a Camaro with a rear spoiler, racing tires, and a super-charger even though it's all completely legal, it would raise an eyebrow for me.

I would think the guy was planning to run somebody over while speeding.

Not surprising from the guy who thinks innocent people need to be monitored by the government. What's sad is a disturbingly large number of misinformed Americans use the same silly logic you do.
