Are domain generators generally safe?

Are domain generators generally safe to use, or are they
primarily tools for obtaining access to people's researched keywords?

What's the consensus?

If you are afraid of them stealing your researched keywords, then don't use them.

There are many ways to brainstorm domain names without having to use software at all

I believe that they are safe, If you are skeptical just make sure your are going to use one that has a lot of good reviews. I have never heard anything bad about them.
