Are tattoos cool anymore? (marginally NSFW)

HAHA,

Yea, gotta love that GREEN soap! I remember getting my first tattoo when I was a Senior in high school. We were on a trip in Daytona, Beach. My parents were uber pissed when I got home. Since then I go at least once a year, and every tattoo I have means something to me as well. I got both my boys names with certain symbols and my wife's name ID on my left wrist. I like that rush you get when going into the parlor and seeing all the designs, and the conversations are always interesting, especially with people that are getting their first tattoo.I love seeing that look on someone's face when they are scared.

Phre0nBurn..a 2 year holdoff? Has the withdrawals going?

Shit man... The withdrawals are terrible...
A buddy of mine back in San Diego (my hometown) splits my work with another buddy of mine in Temecula. I just haven't been back in awhile, and last time I was my friend in SD was in jail (he's a big dude, gets himself into a good amount of trouble), so I dunno, it's just been a hectic 2 years. I could head to a shop but I dunno... It's more interesting when I can drink a few beers with the dude afterwards, and when I know them I feel the work is more personal.
I got my first tat at 17 on the couch in my room. So it's always been kinda a personal thing to me... Its tough holding off though... If I had a few hundred to just blow the ink shop would be the first place I head!

haha! i'm pretty much the same. Got my first tat at 18 in a shop then all of mine since then have been done by a mate of mine on his couch, he moved to Latvia a few months ago so i haven't had any in ages. Needless to say i'm flying out there in February to get more done. Would you believe it works out cheaper than going to a shop!

One word... Bamboo!

No scabbing, quick healing, amazing detail... once you try it you'll never want a machine one ever again.
