Are there any niches not worth jumping in to?

I found a cool fitness product on clickbank. I made an ad campaign in adwords and was ready to initialize it when I read somewhere not to try in the health niche. Will my ad be drowned out and be ineffective? Also what are some niches to stay away from. This is also my first time making an adwords campaign.

Did you ever think the person telling you not to jump into health, might be putting out propaganda to scare people away from their niche? ;)

There is no other way to know other than to do like Nike says, "Just Do It!"

Carry on...

Couldn't have said it any better.

Just as what I've heard 3 years ago, not to jump into health niche. However, it turned out to be profitable when I did a year later.

As CCarter said... Just DO it!

I just read that it's tough to make money in the "Meteors falling to earth" niche but your mileage may vary.

Open your gmail, check your spam folder - those are the niches that I usually avoid

Try to dig deeper within your health niche and find out which of the topics within health has low competition- though most you'll find would probably be very high competition. Patience is a virtue.

ton of competition on Adwords in fitness niche . you'll be better off finding an easy kw to rank for..

There's money to be made in every popular niche out there..

Just pick one niche and one traffic source and stick with it.

Just because a lot of people are doing it doesn't mean that you can't make a lot of money too. In fact, that a lot of people are in a market means that there's money to be made there.

If there is a $10 billion dollar market and there are thousands of people trying to get a piece of that pie, even if you get a tiny sliver you'll still be making out better versus trying to dominate a $1 market. Also, all you have to do is do whatever your competition is doing, only better or one step further.

You can go into competitive niches, just target subniches. Ex. Don't go after just fitness, you'll get buttfucked by the guys that have been in it for years. Going after 'fitness for Overweight Hispanics with large hip bones' however could get you some big gains if you spread out and take on many of these subniches.

Remember to focus on building up a real business, these subniches are a great starting point but not a sustainable stream of income long-term.

Grappling with a competitive saturated niche is a great place to rapidly learn.

Since there's such high volume, it's immediately obvious when you do something right. Real power comes when you're so in tune with a niche that you can see what the big dogs are doing as they do them.

The whole experience develops a necessary intuition most of us take for granted.
