ARM THE TEACHERS ? ? ?



Excellent idea! In America, impressionable kids just don't have enough exposure to guns, so we should really ramp that up a little bit. There's still quite a few brown people left in the world, after all.

And this way, when the teacher is outside in the hall giving some kid shit, his friend can grab the gun, and shoot her when she comes back into class. Excellent!
 
I bet kids would respect the teacher more and learn some shit. Test scores will soar.
 
It sounds crazy but it might not be a bad idea to have a few locked up guns on hand....maybe the principal instead of teachers.
 
First of all, this is already being done in some districts in Texas (since 2008) with no incident.

Secondly, maybe that teacher in CT could have stopped the guy's bullets that killed her and all all of her students with something other than her own body.

Thirdly, just the mere presence of this guy Clackamas mall shooter faced man with concealed weapon | kgw.com Portland was enough to to stop the shooter.

These mass shooters are picking these places for a reason: Most horror; least resistance. As seen in the last example, even the idea of resistance can be enough.

edit: that all being said, I would be even more open to at least starting with some of those bad ass doors they put on the cockpit of planes.

Who were your teachers in school? Mine were a bunch of dumb broads who shouldn't step outside the kitchen, nevermind a gun range.

Instead of arming these bimbos maybe the schools should just hire a few armed guards? Off duty cops are always taking these types of jobs to supplement their pay. Certainly they would be a bit more equipped to deal with an armor-wearing, assault rifle wielding psychopath, than a 25 year old English major with a 9mm.

Plus, then parents would have to be like, parents, and actually educate and deal with their kids.

That will never fly. Pharma is going to keep pushing down the requirements to dope people, people will keep wanted those requirements pushed down because it is the path of least resistance.

yup, that's the problem.
 
I'd say a smart compromise would be for a silent-dial digital combo gunsafe to be installed in each classroom and the teachers must be trained to use it in emergency situations. Sure 1 in a few million smartass hacker kids will break the combo and film himself on youtube gaming the system, but that doesn't mean someone will die because he did so.

Meanwhile, just the fact that every classroom will have guns in them and ppl trained to stop these bastards will stop the problem cold. Classrooms will never again be thought of as the low hanging fruit for these fruitcases. Kids safe, case closed.


Edit: That said, I do not reccommend that anyone ever send their child to a school in the first place. The internet is now far superior to classrooms and any kid in one is basically being made into a propagandized sheep.

How about we just constantly crop dust the entire US with marijuana smoke for the next 6 months, and calm everyone down a bit? Would probably be more efficient than anything else.
 
It would be the most effective way...aside from dismantling the who state run school system and putting the responsibility of educating children back on the parent. Unfortunately a lot of people will herp derp at the idea saying things like:

Aren't there a lot of case's on teachers for sexually harrasing kids and having sex with them?? Well now, with gun's in their hands, you can just imagine what will happen.
 
Give all the kids and teachers concealed guns, that'll stop all mass shootings in schools.

The head teacher should have an M16, grenade launcher and tactical nukes preferably, in case there's a school uprising.
