Assange Is Fucked

SIPRNet is a not connected to the Department of State’s systems: it’s separate.

After the September 11 attacks, SIPRNet was expanded to help U.S. agencies share classified information more easily, with virtually all embassies and consulates on the system. A 1993 GAO report estimated more than 3 million U.S. military and civilian personnel had the clearance to access SIPRNet, although it remains unclear as to how many people now actually have roles that allow them to do so. The hope was to spur communication of the kind of vital clues that might have prevented that catastrophe. These links, ironically, probably helped WikiLeaks's informant get access to confidential diplomatic messages.

Don't fuck with bluechinagroup. He knows his shit.

Nah. He's an idiot.

WikiLeaks unlawfully solicits the unlawful compromising of classified federal communication. They unlawfully handle said information and unlawfully disseminate it.

Someone who doesn't want to acknowledge this cares more about their libtard ideology than national security.

Does this mean that Guardian and NY Times should also be shut down since they publish many of these cables even before WikiLeaks?

And how is this different from China censoring google for which they were openly criticised?

You haven't said one intelligent thing in your posts. You included zero facts and only included your opinion. The only rebuttals you used against all my points are are "Nah, He's an idiot", "Shut Up", and "Libtard".

Anyone who isn't blinded by nationalism can see who the idiot here really is.

I get it. You ran away to live in Hong Kong now so you don't give a shit about the US.

Your opinion doesn't count here.

But your completely incoherent opinion totally counts right?

So basically you have no argument therefore you just try to divert attention from my points by saying I don't live in the U.S and therefore nothing I say matters.

This is some weak shit man. You're not making yourself look smart by saying stuff like this. You come off as somebody who can't defend your opinions, so you have to resort to cheap distractions.

I believe his stated mission is to encourage/force "total transparency."

Disclaimer: I have not read the linked piece, nor have I read the CNN article linked by cougarclaws.

"I have to conceal information such as my location because others will abuse me, but the United States can't be allowed to conceal information!"

The guy is a kook.

A question for all of you saying he should be jailed.

If you came across let's say Chinese, Iranian or Russian secrets and posted them online, do you think you should be extradited as an American citizen to one of those countries to face their courts?

"posted them online" is a broad brush. There's a big difference between a private, restricted blog post on one hand and a systematic campaign of exploiting vulnerabilities and exposing national secrets on the other.

Does this mean that Guardian and NY Times should also be shut down since they publish many of these cables even before WikiLeaks?

I don't know about shut down. But if there is legislation against extracting, handling and publishing protected communication, they should be prosecuted appropriately.

The bottom line is this- If I ask you to engage in transparency by posting your full name, address, social security number, credit card and banking account details, email addresses and passwords, the names, ages and locations of the schools your kids go to, you will refuse.

Your refusal is actually a good thing. I won't try and violate your privacy and force my ideology of hypertransparency on you by coercion. If I did so, it would be wrong.

The principle behind the hiding of information is the same for people as for nations- that the entity, whether person or nation stands to become vulnerable to an unacceptable extent by divulging certain information.

But your completely incoherent opinion totally counts right?

You're right. I haven't made a point.

Now tell me I'm clearly not a lawyer and that I should go work on my backlinks and pretend that's a valid point.

Jackass.

Now tell me I'm clearly not a lawyer and that I should go work on my backlinks and pretend that's a valid point.

Neither of us are lawyers anyway. We'll just have to agree to disagree as far as our opinions on wikileaks go.

Besides I am sure we both have shit we need to work on, such as backlinks.

"The leaders of Myanmar and Belarus, or Thailand and Russia, can now rightly say to us: "You went after WikiLeaks' domain name, their hosting provider, and even denied your citizens the ability to register protest through donations, all without a warrant and all targeting overseas entities, simply because you decided you don't like the site. If that's the way governments get to behave, we can live with that."

Curious to hear opinions on the above quote.

Paypal closes several paypal accounts without warrants. Hosting providers cancel hosting without warrants. Prepare for moral outrage in 3...2...1...

It's double standardalicious. These clowns are asking for special treatment because Assange is the holy grail of allowing their self-loathing, America-hating, white-guilt-ridden ideology to continue.

Fuck the Giant Corporate Banks...0% interest borrowing from the feds and they still loaning us money at higher rates...Let the leak begin.
