This is always the hardest time of the year to even consider anything else AM with all the mad moniez to be made, but if you wait until after the holidays it will probably be to late to stay anywhere good.

As of this moment, ASW is sold out but there are still ways of getting tickets out there.The wynn is sold out but I've heard some whispers that there are still ways to get booked there too.

Treasure Island is happenin this year for those of us that waited too long or didn't want to pay the 300 a night for the wynn (or whatever price that was) I think we (Phillian/Amanda and I) got a room for about 260 total and it's .4 miles from the wynn.

Where is everyone else staying?

Also are we still doing the WFASW hash tags? Or is that sooooo 2009? How are people keeping in touch?

Edit: Ooops just the booths and vendors are sold out. Attendees are not. You still may want to buy ahead of time though as the pricing jumps significantly on site.

I was able to book a room in the Wynn about a week ago. I believe there are still rooms available but you may need to switch rooms for one of the nights.
 
I stayed at the Wynn last year, it was nice... stayed at RIO before that and it sucked.

I might hit up TI or maybe the Palazzo which are both very near to the Wynn if the Wynn is booked. Trump is also very close.
 
there are some great hotel deals those days... i can get $33 at the Mirage, like $118 at the Hard Rock HRH Tower for a suite and $129 at the Wynn/Encore... (the Mirage and Wynn rates are for those in their player programs).
 
Fuuckk, don't remind me, still only got my ticket, flights+hotel still aren't sorted, partly due to lack of funds. Anyone got any Amex points/similar they wanna sell?

If you don't have the funds for it... you probably shouldn't be going in the first place. durka durka.
 
I find it amazing some people without a pot to piss in are spending their last dollar on making this show. That tells you a lot about the opportunities at ASW vs AdTech or ASE. I think the Vegas atmosphere (and the parties) are conducive to everybody's guard going down and some solid deals able to be made. Either that, or we think we made some hot deals and as we're sobering up on the plane ride home, think "What the hell happened the past 3 days? I don't remember a thing!" (save those business cards!)

Staying at encore. I missed out on the $99 registration, so I have a 10% off code ready but once in a while some freebies pop up. I don't need anything beyond silver.
 
holy shit........... I bought my hotel and plane tickets and forgot to buy my affiliate summit pass? What the fucking hell! I thought I bought it a month ago.

Can anyone help me out with passes?
 
I know it's going to be a jammed packed 3 days, but It would be cool to get some people to play 1/2 NL, or even better, someone get a $1/2 holdem home game up in the room(i'll bring up a bottle). Perfect mingle opportunity, plus i can win the monies ;). Either way not a bad idea, especially if we can do this 4p.m-8p.m, which is mostly down time. Or maybe the wynn can get us a private table??
 
Staying at Encore, if people wants a discount of some sort... register for the red membership(free) and give them a call. They are more than willing to hook you up.
