AT&T phases out unlimited data plans



I don't use a ton of network data so this is pretty good news that I'll be able to step down into a cheaper data plan.

According to my iPhone I've used a little over 600 MB (total) since I've got it about year ago. I also don't get 3G in my area, although travel 30 min north or south you do, so I kind of find it a waste.
 
the only good thing about at&t is the 3g is faster than any other networks. My friend has verizon 3g and that shit sucks ass. It takes like 5-10 seconds longer to load a website.

Android blow the shit out of everything else IMO. Apple, like Microsoft, is so dedicated to closing themselves off from the rest of the world that they seem to fuck everything up.

I decided to go with a Moto Droid over an iphone, and its the best phone purchase I've ever made. Things don't always run so smoothly, but I never have to bother with the bullshit hoops the other major players make you jump through.
