Okay, so like 90% of the people I talked to at ASE who were from Wicked Fire said just about the same thing "I don't really post, I just lurk."

Man the fuck up and introduce yourself at this time.

If I made you drinks, danced with your girlfriend or trashed your game in any other sort of method I'd like to put more faces to names and branch out my lists of contacts a bit.

So step up ladies...
 


Most people who lurk are scared they are going to get flamed for asking legitimate questions. I just sit back and let other people ask the questions, laugh at the pwnage, and maybe get a small nugget of helpful info.
 
Yeah, I met a lot of lurkers. Wickedfire to them is a freakshow, some kind of spectacle. They'd rather watch than participate. Me, I grew a thick skin on SomethingAwful since '98. When I finally got here, it felt like home.
 
Meh, I think semi-lurking is fine if you are learning. I make small money. For now, its best I read more than i post. That'll change if I start making 5fig/mo and got something to add. Besides, there are enough small money posers on WF. You don't need more.

or maybe thats rationalizing and i'm a pussy.

I was one of those guys, met a few of the people who have posted up in this thread. Gonna try to start being more active so I don't have to say the same thing at ASW.
