There was a while when I was spending a shit ton of money on Woot and other daily deal type sites. I still get a bunch of email notices from them, most are shitty usb accessories, but every once in a while I run into something like this:

Dillyeo - Self adhesive ?Dry Erase Board? - 30" X 10' + 4 FREE Expo Dry Erase Markers

The only thing I worry about is how strong or weak the adhesive is. If I'm going to have to constantly be reapplying it and smoothing shit out-- fuck it. I also rent, and the last thing I want is a permanent 10 foot whiteboard.

I was pretty excited when I saw this. Then I wondered how the shipping could be so cheap. Here's another picture of the "board"

better than nothing though.

Without borders my dumb ass would end up writing on the wall.

Get a dry-erase wallcovering. Dry Erase Wall Covering

It can probably be adhered with an easier to remove double-stick tape than a board can.

For my board, I screwed into the wall and let it hang there. When I move out, I'll just put some putty over it and go.

When I move into the house I want, I'll be making an entire wall (that I can reach anyway) my dry-erase board with that roll. It looks neat.

Nice find.
Better prices, more selection.

so wait, what's the consensus on this thing? is it shitty or should I submit my order?

Anyone have one?

The one on Dillyeo seems to be almost identical to the stuff on the site that rexibit originally posted.

You never get good support from these deal sites and they don't have much stock, so I'd go with one of the other options.

If you only want to spend $20, go for Dillyeo.

Ya, pretty cool....but kids + markers + white carpet, I don't think so.

Coat the carpet in it too. :p

Nah, I have some floor covering clients and most of the new carpet out nowadays can resist markers pretty well. Any P.E.T. or Anso Nylon is pretty easy to get stains out of if it's treated with Stainmaster or Scotchguard. The treatment isn't usually necessary, but if helps it the crap happens repeatedly.

I wouldn't put carpet anywhere but the bedroom anyway.
