Awesomely Huge (30 in. X 10') Whiteboard!

at the office down here, we used huge sheets of glossy white masonite. They work somewhat well, but you need to use those cleaning wipes to get the marker off instead of just an eraser. You can get a 4x8 sheet of it for like 12 bucks, and you don't have to paint your walls.

I need a big whiteboard for my new place, gonna go spend money this afternoon. THANKS FUCKERS

meh go to home depot you can get wall paneling that size that works as a dry erase board for cheaper

There was a while when I was spending a shit ton of money on Woot and other daily deal type sites. I still get a bunch of email notices from them, most are shitty usb accessories, but every once in a while I run into something like this:

Dillyeo - Self adhesive ?Dry Erase Board? - 30" X 10' + 4 FREE Expo Dry Erase Markers

The only thing I worry about is how strong or weak the adhesive is. If I'm going to have to constantly be reapplying it and smoothing shit out-- fuck it. I also rent, and the last thing I want is a permanent 10 foot whiteboard.

I've been wanting a dry erase option for my office but need something that doesn't leaves marks 'cause I rent. It doesn't say anything about how you apply this besides that it's self adhesive. Anyone know if it leaves marks behind?

I ordered one too, but on Amazon - [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0033STJ08/]Amazon.com: 3M Self Adhesive Dry Erase Material. 29-3/4" x 10-Feet Long.: Toys & Games[/ame] Thanks for the heads up.

Also, the paint is really sweet, fantastic if you have kids. The trick though is getting them to write just on the whiteboard wall ;)

Ya, pretty cool....but kids + markers + white carpet, I don't think so.

Yeah this would be great for an older kid like my 8 year old but disastrous for my two year old. He would be writing on every wall in the house and probably on other people's as well not quite understanding the boundaries yet.

edit: just read the post above me. exactly. Although it might work if you do a whole room like that and just make that the "art room" they would probably understand that. But unfortunately I don't have a room to spare :(

We just ordered gallons of idea paint for the new diggs.... got some up at my desk right now = WIN!

I'll post pics when we are moved in and have the place covered.

I actually thought of you when I saw that. Totally up your alley. Can't wait to see pics.

I got this, Not too impressed. The roll came cut crooked and as I was unrolling I had problems with bubbles and the shit sticking together. To get it apart I had to make several almost tears in it. Ended up with maybe 3 feet perectly usuable. It had a paper on it that said " $19.95 value!". It was $20.99 shipped. I'm not pissed about it or anything, it just didn't turn into a great deal. I've wasted 20 bucks on far worse things, and I guess I got 5 bucks worth of markers and at least some use out of it.

Great, I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet but I'm not looking forward to it. How does it stick to the wall? Do you think it will leave a mark?

Damn, sorry to hear that.

Wow. This is new to you guys? Damn.
My office in Philly had this all over our board room and conference area since 2006. It's just like wallpaper but really thick. We had it installed ceiling to floor and it was the most dope thing I've used for mastermind sessions in a long time.

There are bands of adhesive at the top and bottom. It's really not bad. I think part of my issue is that I fucked up unrolling it. I would think they could've at least cut the edge straight though. I got it to let my kids write all over anyway. I have enough boards for myself.
