Backlink question

Should I send all backlinks to domain.com or send some backlinks to domain.com/article1 and some to domain.com/article2? It would seem option number 2 would seem more natural.

You just have to model what already works or what would appear to happen naturally. So backlink everything I even backlink contact us pages about pages, my whole sitemap gets love

Drip the links to everything on your pages. Contact us, Disclaimer and a lot more. That will help you in the long run. Better safe than sorry.

Its better to spread it out. So backlink to your main page as well as the inner pages.

Spread it out, diversify, as long as you don't throw everything into the same bucket you'll be fine.

Yep, spreading it out is better, but it is fine to focus most of your links on whatever page you are targeting.
