I actually spent some time reading that blog post. In 2 words - the author licked Google's ass. Oh, it's 4 words, actually...

Short review:
play nice, kids, and Googlebot will not shove your shit up your ass. Try to trick him with 4-years-old techniques - and prepear Uranus.
 
Seeing as how this very forum came on the scene when I posted my measly $84k/week BH SEO spam a lama ding dong earnings as an affiliate of Commission Junction doing mortgage refinance leads, and my few major competitors were.. Countrywide.. Ameriquest.. Net2Quote.. and LendingTree (barely tho). All the other White Hat SEO's and the corp assholes SEO agencies couldn't figure it out... oh. The serps were temporary eh? That's why... they lasted for over a year without any effort? Or maybe why this very forum ranked, as a lulz joke for "buy viagra fedex" for over 6 years straight? Right... because you guys know what the fuck anything even means. SEO/SEM agencies would not exist if it weren't for BH SEO's leading the way in innovation and taking risks with their own funds and their own rules and 'ethics'. Google used to claim "Don't be evil." Really? Who's evil now?

Not to mention... nearly every single current "kosher" tactic that all of those dickholes now rely on WERE ONCE CONSIDERED BLACK HAT SEO back in the day... should really get them to stop with the whole holier than thou snobby attitude and ENOUGH with the regurgitating of bullshit about "BH SEO is temporary" or "Your rankings obtained using black hat seo tactics are not going to last long" --- orly?? Well, if they are so ineffective and temporary how is it that their $29.95 software just beat the snot out of a $4B/per quarter megatron giant of evil hyperbole and is even ranking at all fucktwat???

Logic and balls. Two things all white hat seo agency creeps lack. They take zero risk, they are all copycat fuckfaces with no imaginations other than circle jerking each other off to the same commentary and snickering. Every one of them are shitheads.... and the greatest part... is they all use BH SEO services, they just don't admit it.

I'm done with Google anyway, they suck a dick. They are just one big search engine of fail. If I weren't held by a legal binding agreement to shut the fuck up about some magical secrets of theirs, I'd spill it now and end this never ending douchebag debate between mangina khaki wearing dickbags and us rational logical folk. But there are more of them because it's far easier to copy than it is to create.

PS- I don't even do BH SEO anymore.. or any seo. But guys here are fucking amazing at it. Better than any agency person I've ever met. Hands down... no doubt about it.

I agree with most of this, but honestly after all these years fucking around with Google I'm starting to realize this: there are awesome blackhatters, and awesome whitehatters, and both deserve a tremendous amount of respect because they essentially achieve the same results. Rand might be a bitch, but he's banking hard... and so is that Wil Reynolds guy from Seer and all those monkeys from Distilled that preach "write nice content and links will come naturally!" lol. The reality is they are all charging $XXX,XXX monthly retainers to A list corporations and all they do is send them PDF/Excel reports asking them to change their meta descriptions. LOL

The ones that deserve no respect are those that zig zag between both worlds, without truly mastering any of them. These guys are always uncertain about what they're doing and keep switching allegiances. I must admit that I used to be part of this gay school, up until I got slapped in 2012 and realized that there is no space for a "rainbowhat SEO". You choose your school and you master everything there is to master in it.

It has to be such a sweet gig handling 6 figure/year clients and all you really do is tell them to update title tags and create content based around some keywords someone regurgitates from 10 minutes of research. From what I've encountered, 99% of people in the SEO world are braindead retards who can't figure out that Google DGAF about your site's SEO, only what you're spending on Adwords. SER/SEL comment sections are hilarious, but then again, they just demonstrate how dumb the competition really is.
