I have an understanding of what a landing page is and it's purpose. I understand the concept of what it should do.
However, I'm not sure I know what it should look like. I've looked at a few examples from the banner above (Get Landing Pages - We Make Landing Pages Easy.) and I've seen a couple of very simple layouts discussed elsewhere in the forum but I'm still hungup on the look.
I'm a web developer and have an idea of how a website should look and how information is structured, but landing pages seem a lot different than some homepage or a "regular" website.
I've got a good sense of design and information architecture so I'm not too concerned with putting it all together, and perhaps I do know what a landing page should look like and I"m just over thinking it, but some nudges in the right direction would be helpful.
