no way man, COD is the franchise that pumps out new titles every 12 months (which have sucked the last 5 damn years)..

BF3 was out in 2011. this'll likely be out the end of this year; which is more reasonable.

The time between BF3 and BF4 will be 2 years. It definitely does look like they improved the gfx a bit, but BF3 was such a massive improvement on gfx, they get a free pass after a game or two.. Call of Duty though has been stuck with pretty much the same gfx engine since like 2000 or something ridiculous.

the map size difference, graphics, and game quality of BF vs CoD is laughable.

CoD is for children
BF is for adult gamers

minor changes? BF3 has pushed 5-6 major game & map updates since its release. BF4 will use the newest Frostbite engine + ton of new things!

I think it's hard to call those changes minor, especially in the graphics department. Sure, the enemy looks the same, but this video had Russians as the enemy, as did BF3. The main people you fight will be the Chinese.

Played BF3 daily for months after it was released.

Now I only play periodically, and seems like every time I log on there's a new ~1.8 Gig patch that needs to be downloaded. >:(

That was kind of the whole idea behind Battlefield. The 'best' massive multiplayer shooting game. Nothing special, just the basics.

I actually like how when they run through the grass/water it'll actually move and have an animation instead of just being stagnant.
