Best Countries For Lasik?

you dont need lasik for that power . Thats Just dumb .

hmmm am not sure about my eye no. two years ago it was like -2.0 for right and -1.75 for left so its just a guess that it might be well above -2.50.

btw when I use my phone while sleeping my eyes feel pain after sometime and suddenly I see some kind of black spot moving, is this thing normal with people with high no. or just me?

You want to be sure your prescription is stabilized for at least a year, otherwise the benefits of LASIK will diminish (if the provider will even operate on you).

I just had PRK done back in January (in the US), my prescription was -3.25 in each eye. I was a candidate for LASIK, but the whole thought of the 'flap' weirded me out and the provider warned me about the possibility of 'flap dislocation' - basically having the LASIK flap come loose or being completely torn off if you get poked in the eye.

With PRK they remove a layer of the eye, reshape with a laser, and then you're left to regenerate the layer they removed. Recovery is longer, and you have to use a shitload of various drops and ointment for the following weeks, but it seems worth it to not have to worry about the flap liability. I can play with my kids and not worry about having to choke one out if they poke me in the eye.

If you really want to scare the shit out of yourself, check this out - LASIK Complications, Risks - Top 10 Reasons Not to Have LASIK. I think the chances of getting mauled are pretty slim. They have their shit down now, but there's still a chance (as with any surgery). Just do your research and weigh the benefits vs the risks.

Good luck man...
