Best Film Scores OF ALL TIME

The zither music from "The Third Man."
Loved "Moon River" from "Breakfast At Tiffany's" but I didn't like the movie all that much.
The devastating harmonica theme and "Everybody's Talking" from "Midnight Cowboy."
"Smile" from Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times," and he composed other excellent scores.

Few people realize that Chaplin was a very fine composer.

Doing a film score is something I'd love to try and do.. No fucking clue where I'd start though for the opportunity. One guy is using my one piece in a short film being shot in LA, but beyond just people randomly using my shit doesn't really count as a full score.

It would be awesome. What kind of music do you make? Do you have any samples online we could check out? It would be great to hear.

Very nice piano sound you've got going. Is that a plugin? Great music composition overall on that video by that way.

Checked out your site too - sweet setup you've got. Are those studio monitors? Which ones if so? What software do you use?

I can't help connect you with film directors but I can help with production and composition techniques if you're interested. One of my main businesses is in producing music for TV advertising e.g Audi, BMW etc. Always interested in hearing other people's work and giving something back. As cheesy as that sounds.
