I tell you how Im moving my business model.

To actually move into something I spent £xx,xxxx getting a degree in.

at the end of the day any tom dick and harry can speak about diet pills and bingo but in reality I'm in an industry which businesses spend millions in and unlike a lot of the people in this sector I have online marketing skills.

that and making myself look like a big multinational. I feel good things ahead.

The other thing i will be doing this year is targeting the super wealthy hobbyists, at the end of the day recessions hit poor and middle incomes disposable cash they dont hit the real wealth.

(a contacts business is selling more £500 stock than he is £75 stock) which would of never of happend 10 years ago

The smart ones will figure something out. Steve Jobs called it connecting the dots. Even if you start out with made for adsense sites.

To have an edge; one must think outside the box a little or jump on something before the niche is saturated.

Who would have have thought you can sell razor blades online. One guy did.

Launch your own supplement. Great business model, easy to manage (outsource everything), inexpensive to get it going.

For me it is always the recurring commission affiliate programs.

I am in a nice place right now because of them where if my PC blew up and I never touched a keyboard again I would continue to get some nice payments on some services i have referred people to as long as they stay members.

I do my online stuff to live a lazy life not to be a billionaire but the option to up my game is always there

Actually glad this thread was started keeps me from starting a thread to discuss thoughts on my mind about the future.

My thoughts recently have been on how to be a first mover in Glass. Not just transitioning current businesses over, but figuring what new businesses and services will need to be provided to this emerging segment.

Consumer-based augmented reality is upon us.

My thought is later this year or sometime within the next 18 month Apple will answer with a device, not sure if it will be glasses though, but if it is and the glasses are not sand boxed, there will be opportunities for the well-prepare to write history and their own checks.

And yes, more businesses with focus on participants. Still, the other stuff (individual methods) will be there. Unless there is a radical change to the system they will never go away, just more rungs on the ladder between top and bottom, as is every year.

Cool, so they can see your ads while getting punched in the face

1. Identify a market

2. Determine what every incumbent is paying for in that market

3. Sell to the incumbents

4. Siphon customers, build platform

5. Profit?
