I used to use Basecamp to collaborate projects with my team, but it was more for my own productivity/to-do. I'm bringing a few more people into a company of mine and I'm looking for the best management platform to communicate ideas etc. I've looked through about 10-15 other platforms and this is looking like the best one :

Huddle - Project management software, collaboration software & file storage
http://www.huddle.com/demo/

Mobile integration is important for me, I want this place to be the hub for everything dealing with the company and something that's easy to access. I'm also a very visual person, so aesthetics is kind of a big deal to me.

Thanks.

I too am looking to upgrade from Project Pier. I hate that I have to upgrade someone's profile from user to admin just so they can create their own projects, effectively giving them God-rights to the whole install.

As a smaller business you may benefit from a consolidated solution. Instead of going with a project management app that does just project management, go with something that can do more as well. That way you won't have to integrate other applications and pay double for multiple systems.

If you look at WORKetc, it combines CRM with project management and billing as well. Under WORKetc you'd be able to manage all contacts, leads, projects, to-dos, events, invoices, product lists, support inquiries, etc. It's an all in one solution. It's also very simplistic and intuitive, I'm not sure if you mean by aesthetics you want beautiful colors and rainbows or just a good-to-look-at software, but WORKetc is pretty eye appealing. :P

If you are going to whore out your own product, at least be honest about it.

At least use an anonymous username next time. Shameless!

I personally prefer sticking with stuff like skype and encrypted email for collaboration work. I simply do not feel comfortable having sensitive information stored on a third party cloud based service.
