Best ways to increase recognition of my affiliate program?

Hi there,

I started an affiliate program about a month ago. Thus far, I've submitted my affiliate program to a number of affiliate directories and press release sites. What other measures should I be taking to increase the exposure of my program besides these measures? I am working on a strict budget in a very niche dating area, but it has thus far been very difficult to find and attract affiliates. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Maybe use the Google to find websites that cater to your target market - approach the site owners and pitch them your affiliate program, etc....

man...you should get campaigning ...like...get somebody to advertise you. Invest in a quality campaign and you'll see the results. I started the way you did and now I am at 2k/week investing $75 for a regular online campaign. Minimum effort , max result.

If you can't even find your own way to promote your own affiliate program, you shouldn't even own one (lol).

TIPS:
-SEO (preferably automated to save time)
-PPC/Media buys
-Email marketing (harvest lists of users specific to your affiliate program keyword, email them)
-Make a GOOD youtube video about your affiliate program. Make sure you bring truck loads of traffic to the video to obtain youtube hits. (ie. auto-digg/senuke/mass article submit the youtube video)
