Try Ubuntu and you'll see how bad Windows sucks.

Try Chrome (which you probably already do) and you'll see how bad IE sucks.

On the surface (no pun intended) all their products look fancier year by year, but at the core it's the same BS coding philosophy. Can you imagine that in 2013 I still need to restart my computer after I install a software on Windows? Can you believe that?

Oh ffs, I've installed ubuntu so many times now and every time *something* about my main system doesn't work, then I spend the whole weekend trying to get a driver installed because it's not the exact right version for the kernel I'm using and I end up going back to windows after having wasted the entire weekend on that shit. I've used command line linux since 1994 and it's great for servers but I'll be fucked if I'm using it on my main machine.

Rebooting after an install is hardly confined to Windows. Ever try installing catalyst drivers in Linux? I did it a couple of weeks ago on my ubuntu 10.04 (backtrack5r3) machine and it requires a reboot.

My macbook pro needed a reboot the other day after installing software as well (can't remember what I installed though)

Can't comment on chrome since I don't use it.
