Bill Maher getting owned again.

Why did that black lady bring up slavery? It had absolutely nothing to do with the conversation.

You must not watch much TV. I see shit like that all the time and just shake my head and triple face palm. A couple of days ago they tried to make the case that the reason those 3 girls were missing so long in Cleveland is because the police don't care about black people. Odd since none of the girls were black, but yeah - slavery omgz.

It always makes me worried how the crowd cheer these things so strongly. Is that indicative of the general public's opinion?

It's political correctness run amok. People are so worried about being seen as racist that they go too far over into goofball territory. It's the "some of my best friends are black" tripe, but on steroids.

lol Maher vs. Greenwald is not a fair fight. Good grief. It's like me showing up drunk and climbing into the ring with a young Mike Tyson.

Yup, Greenwald is a beast of a journalist. A real journalist too, not some shit stain talking head.

Maher is a hack, and not funny. Jon Stewart on the other hand is an intelligent guy and pretty fucking funny. I loved the job he did during the Bush years, boiling down the fucked up shit the govt was doing into an easily digestible form for the masses. That's why I've been so disappointed with the way he's looked past so much of Obama's shit. Now he's just another voice of one party when he could have been so much more. Imagine if he held Obama's feet to the fire the way he did Bush, all those young fucking retards that get all their news from The Daily Show might actually have a clue about what's going on.

As much as I can't stand listening to Maher, he has thrown his support behind the new Vice show on HBO and helped bring it to life. I really like that show. So far I haven't seen any bias in it. It's A-OK super fun #1. Really interesting stuff: Episode 6 - China

Didn't really see any pwnage as the title suggested, but it was curious all the same.

The dozy bint banging straight into slavery / "black people suffered at the hands of you white people" argument seemed to perplex the English chap though. She sounded like she honestly believed / thought that being shat on from a great height was the exclusive right of African ancestry, and was thus 100% relevant to the topic being discussed!

i am so conditioned by american media to expect the scripted guilt response to her type of blather that when the british guy stood some ground, i was actually shocked.
