Ed didn't die this morning, and it wasn't completely unexpected. It's the young ones (Billy Mays was only 50) that pass without any apparent reason that really take you by surprise. Pluse, Ed McMahon was just talent, not a 'real' pitchman or advertiser, but a paid monkey. So, no, he didn't make a blip on my radar.
