I never once said not to buy bitcoin. Go back and you will find the threads where I bought (and unfortunately sold) BTC. My argument has always revolved around the possibility and likelyhood of the exchanges being shut down. I will however that fear (a reasonable and probable one) cost me an easy $100,000. With that said I still believe a day will come when Americans won't be able to convert BTC to dollars.
 
So some guy makes some "market place" and scams people into paying for "hits" that never actually happen?
 
Assassination markets are nothing new. There is a white paper on how to run them. I forget what it is called, I remember reading it years ago and then hoping no one knew I had ever read it.

Technically, you can have a market for anything.

Yes, I read at one point that it had the possibility of going above $100 when it was around $1. Wish I had bought at that time and kept till now

Actually, I had a lot of btc a while back when they were much cheaper, but because I'm not a very optimistic person regarding shit I don't understand, I exited out of my positions at a sound profit. Still have a few left tho

Seriously people; don't you think that if those numbers keep rising (And they just got mentioned in forbes and ZH, so you know they will) that some actual assassin is going to want that money?

The site owner couldn't possibly be stupid enough to publically state "Hey, here's $X to kill Ben" and then after the assassin pulls the trigger, doesn't give the murderer his money.

TOR is awesome and all, but the stakes are too high.
