I soooooo want to post a smart-alek remark such as, "This does help make monies me for on interwebs?!!! Plz send info, PlZZZ!!!" but this thread has been crapped enough.

I strongly encourage people that don't know what the guy is offering to please either pass over it or at least keep your "lower level questions" (<--nice term) to a PM to him to keep his thread relatively clean.

I "strongly encourage" anyone that is considering cloaking... to look at an IP based solution... not simple redirects. This isn't 2004.

I'm not giving my opinion on this service one way or another so there's no reason to quote me in your opposition to the thread. Furthermore, as a general rule it's considered a courtesy to refrain from crapping people's "for sale" threads unless that specific person has wronged you.

If you have a problem with the type of practice he is promoting, then you may want to post it in the appropriate forum. I'm sure that you would appreciate it if you were selling something and people extended you the same courtesy.

I agree with you on this one. I'll admit, I'm out of line.

Rather than bitching about using blackhat techniques on this thread, I posted another thread about how to minimize the risks when using blackhat techniques over here:

I will say one last thing… before purchasing, do some research if you are not familiar with different cloaking techniques.

But things can go wrong with IP cloaking very easily, you won't always have the complete list of IPs in your database unless you purchase some real expensive industrial cloaking software.

IP based cloaking is much more expensive, with the only worthwhile ones costing in excess of a thousand. And I don't understand the point of your post, there are always different alternatives, and you haven't mentioned that while this service only costs 20 bucks to WF members, IP based cloaking solutions can cost at least 10 times more, with the difference in traffic being much less noticeable. IP based cloaking is acknowledged to be more secure in terms of not being spotted by competitors, but if you want a simple disposable site and what to get an increase in traffic without being too fussed if something happens, then you wont need IP based cloaking.

I'm open to this kind of debate, but as geekcognito helpfully said, this is a for sale thread and now we have 3 fucking pages of non sale related posts, either from the noobs or from this type of 'there are other ways' kind of post.

Exactly, by the times the engines decide to kick a project for cloaking/redirects/whatever, I have the next 20 already running...just feed them more than they spit out ! Domains are cheap, hosting is cheap, content is out there in abundance and at the end of the day the best cloaking is no guarantee that your site if safe.

As Demon said, if you don't put this stuff on a authority site you hugged for years, there is little risk and a good chance for a nice $$$$ reward.
