So I just got back on the internet after the power went out on the entire island because lightning struck the electric company's transformer. Fortunately I got sent home from my crappy job and the only thing left to do was get drunk on the beach. Isn't it amazing how dependent we are on technology now days?

Yeah I guess I can't complain. It was nice getting drunk on the beach. I just thought it was amazing how no one knew what to do without electricity, it's like like the world stopped turning. People were freaking out and standing in lines for hours at the store. Altogether it was out for like 12 hours but I have to say it was a pretty fun experience.
