I havent been paying attention, i've been working on my own projects, and have a long way of learning ect. I was looking at blue hat seo blog back in the day, and i guess it's redirected.. I wonder how I can still get all that information from all those wonderful post on that website..

It is owned by skohh now, it was awarded over after he won the WF SEO competition.
I am guessing they both have just been enormously busy, but it will be back and the older posts will be archived for further reading.

Long story short, there was a hard drive failure and we're trying to recover the files. I actually have a lot of stuff in the works with several bright minded people in the SEO "gay" webmaster space. Ironically enough, the way we're trying to recover the site is from an archive scraper that was built from one of Eli's awesome posts on how to rebuild a blog network. I actually think we have all the files already, just my friend who owns the scraper is on a mini vacation atm... So we're just waiting for the files, sorry for the inconvenience guys!
That was a great site. I remember looking forward to new posts with great anticipation. When a new one would appear, it was always felt like opening a Christmas present when I was a kid.
Must have been a hell of a website. I dont think that I have felt like that over any website, ever.
When I was just getting into SEO that is one of the 1st places I ever started to read and hang out. I remember reading his post about how he self taught at work in his free time and also something to do with a prank call he advised on.

It was a cultural center for the Wickedfire SEO industry 6 years ago.
There aren't many old timers left here, but Syndk8 & Bluehat SEO were the places everyone doing Black and grey seo were hanging out.
The content on BHSEO was great.
What happened to his IRC channel? There used to be some regulars on there, plus a couple hundred lurkers trying to get some inside info.
Every now and then, someone would post a dickroll link, and you could immediately see 20-30 lurkers go offline.

Miss the bluehat days, Eli was the bomb back when he was blogging on a regular/semi-regular basis.

To say Eli was ahead of his time would be an understatement. I remember quite a few moments of clarity reading his posts, and many more humbling moments of realizing just how little I actually knew. Plus, some of us first discovered Wickedfire thanks to that blog. Just for saving me from the idiocy of DigitalPoint I will always ❤ Eli.
