its not a book about productivity but everytime i read or hear it (i use the audio version) it increases my productivity x 10.

I like the original Rich Dad Poor Dad book for this reason as well. It's a lot like "Think and Grow Rich" where it more motivates you to jump into your business than anything else.

I'd love a copy of the audio file Eli.
 
Break work into chunks. It's a lot easier on your mind if you only need to do one small task instead of a huge task.

If you can sit down and tell yourself you'll only get into work for 5 mins, you'll find you actually do a lot more. If you notice 5 mins is up and you wanna go, then do it. But a lot of the time you'll notice a whole load of time has passed and you've been working for 45 - 50 mins +.

Leave a task unfinished before you take a break. If you leave your work space open, or leave a sentence open, then when you get back it's super easy for you to start typing again, and get drawn in.

That's much better then having to start a whole new task when you get back after a break.

Either ways, the trick is to get yourself engaged with easy trivial work (underlining titles, checking some html tables - whatever). This gets you traction and lets you get into the main work a lot more easily.
