BoostCTR Looking for New Writers

Hey Affiliates etc. - you might have heard about BoostCTR in a few previous threads:

We added a bunch of Enterprise clients over the last few weeks and need to pull in more writers to help clear the queue.

If you want to join the system, test your skills out, and write for our newest clients, including some major names (which I can't disclose until you actually come into our system).

For those who haven't heard, we're a crowd-sourced ad-optimization network with a massive constant split-testing engine attached. You come in as a writer, take your best shot at writing a better ad, and if it performs higher, you get a cash price in your PayPal account. What's the massive constant split-testing engine attached to?

The engine is attached to the data we pull from AdWords.

1. Basically, the client comes in, syncs accounts with us (so we pull all the data on CTR, CPI, etc), and then starts contests on underperforming ads. A contest has between 1 & 4 challenger ads that can be requested from our network.
2. Our writers come in, see a contest they want to write for, and write a challenger ad, and if it's approved, it goes live.
3. Once its live, we split test challenger v incumbent on a daily basis, and if your ad is getting a higher CTR / CPI after 14 days with a 90% confidence interval, you are declared the winner, and you get the cash prize, and your ad becomes the new one for the network to beat.

I did this for about a week and made ~$30 off a few wins. Only thing I didn't like was the site reported I was ahead in a few other contests, but they were stopped due to insufficient impressions before reaching a 90% confidence.

How do you feel knowing that you're getting labor to work for below poverty level wages?

I don't think your business will grow much in 3 years.

Yes, we used to have a rule in our system that would take out your ad if it was receiving zero impressions / clicks. This was mainly for ads in our Facebook side of the business. Now, we have this rule still, but it just lets us know when someone switched their AdWords back to uneven rotation, or if Google is taking a little longer to approve copy (for our pharma / healthcare clients). Most times this does not happen anymore.

We're taking a step back from the FB platform. We've been creating great results just on AdWords and adCenter, so we want to focus our development efforts there. Maybe give us another quarter and we'll see what we can do.

We actually found that our writers are doing fairly well. If we were your only source of income right now, that could be rough. But by and large, we have tons of contests that pay $2 if they are accepted. This means that for 3-5 minutes of work, if you follow the guidelines (accept rates are around 95% for most writers), you can get $2.

5 mins/ ad over 1 hour = 12 ads, on average 11 get accepted = $22/ hour. Its likely not something you could do exclusively for a full time job, but at 3 hours a day, this is a great chunk of supplemental income.

I applied a while ago, said I got accepted, can't login. I also tried reapplying again a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't work. (can't remember the reason)
